Importing to Ireland 

Many of our cars are of Irish origin and are offered for sale following refurbishments at our base in England. However we also import a great number of cars into Ireland from England. Generally speaking we sell in the following ways; 

• Some UK registered stock is held at our branch in Ireland under a TAN licence and these cars can be viewed by arrangement.
   

•  A number of buyers are willing to commit to purchase by telephone following a detailed description (subject to viewing) and we can deliver to Dublin or other pars of the country by agreement.
   

• Potential buyers sometimes fly in to London Heathrow or Gatwick for a day visit and we will gladly meet you at the airport. If the vehicle is purchased we can deliver.
   

• We have held our own shows at prestigious venues such as Barberstown Castle, The Keadeen and Red Cow Morans Hotel but also support The Terenure Classic and Vintage show and City West car
  sales.

We are proud to claim that the standard to which a Robert Hughes car is presented is judged as extremely high with many preparation procedures such as with wheels, leather, engine bay and overall paintwork being executed with great care, thoroughness and attention to detail.

• Any potential purchaser is welcome to seek references from our Irish based clients, many of whom have purchased several cars.
   

• If desired, an independent Jaguar main dealer health check report can be arranged on post 1995 cars and The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club can provide a typed report on classic models.

The business is organized to deal with VRT on your chosen car and we can even arrange the NCT if needed. Needless to say, all our cars (including classic and vintage) are guaranteed to be of NCT pass standard.

 This line of business is not new to us-  we have been trading since 1983 and in Ireland with a sub branch since 1998.
